February 2010:  Last Straw Announces the world's first and only MMO Developer Awards. The MMO Developer Awards will honor past and present individuals for excellence in the industry. February 2008:  Last Straw launches new website with official launch of Simian Escape 2.0 which includes bug fixes, compiled executable, demo mode and more. Simian Escape is an addictive casual game where the player takes on the life of a caveman painting trying to survive in a dark, inanimate world. For more information, visit our games & tools page.

January 2008:  Last Straw Productions CEO Jonathon Stevens to speak at Living Game Worlds IV in Atlanta, Georgie April 28 - 30, 2008.  Jonathon has been selected as a speaker at the prestigous game development conference.  More details to come in Late February.

December 2007:  IMGDC announces final lineup of speakers. With the who's who of virtual world development, IMGDC 2.0 is sure to be another smash hit like IMGDC 1.0. Simian Escape

Last Straw's flagship game which was featured at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in February of 2007, Simian Escape, hurls the player into the life of a caveman painting. Try to stay in the torchlight in this 2D side-scroller or be erased from existence. Dodge or throw rocks to kill various monsters trying to stop your journey on the cave wall to survive. Simian Escape features multiplayer support and hours of addictive game play. Simian Escape was built with the TorqueX Engine on top of Microsoft's XNA Framework. Fowl Prowl

Fowl Prowl is a 2D hunting game that allows the player to match up hunters and weapons to try their luck at fowl hunting in the cartoon-comic world of Fowl Prowl. Hunt in a freeform style or go on extensive hunting trips. With 25 unique sites to hunt on, Fowl Prowl provides hours of enjoyable and addictive game play. Fowl Prowl was built using the TorqueX game engine on top of the XNA Framework. Check out our in-game screenshots: shot 1, shot 2, shot 3, and shot 4. Fowl Prowl was released at the end of 2009.

Rattle Battle

Rattle Battle is a game that puts the player into the crazy world of a cartoon toddler making his way around a house trying to get into trouble, find hidden things to eat and causing a general sense of havoc for his parents.

Rattle Battle is in early development stage and is expected 4th quarter 2010.
