About The Straw
Last Straw Productions was founded in 2005 by CEO Jonathon Stevens. Jonathon wanted to build an Indie game studio where the games were the top priority, not the financial situation. Since Last Straw only chooses games
and projects that we are truely passionate and excited about, we produce games that are fun, attractive and addictive. Last Straw devotes its time to the Indie movement by staying very active in the Indie community through GarageGames and conferences such as the Indie MMO Game Developers Conference, which
Last Straw created in 2007.
Following the success of IMGDC, Last Straw has created the world's first and only
all-MMO fan event, Looking For Group Expo (LFGX) which will take place in June
of 2010. LFGX is geared to harness the world's largest and most social
group of gamers. More information about LFGX can be viewed by going to the
official LFGX website.
Jonathon Stevens has been building virtual worlds since the early days of MUDS
when he developed a MUD-like roleplaying talker codebase in 1996. Jonathon
has also been very succesful in the business development world with clients
including General Mills, Jostens, UV Color, and Robert Half International.
Jonathon is the founder and creative force behind the Indie MMO Game Developers
Conference. "I'm Indie by heart, but a lot of game developers are.
What's different about me is I'm able to be Indie by mind as well."
